This month, I had the opportunity to write an article for True Gold Magazine on the topic of GRACE. It really goes without saying that God’s grace is one of my favorite things to study and write about and contemplate because it makes NO sense to me. Don’t get me wrong. I understand the basic textbook definition, but it’s really hard for my heart to grasp the concept. I generally have no chill and no grace for myself – that’s just how I was wired.
So this piece is really just some of my thoughts about what Jesus has taught me about grace over the past year. It’s meant to encourage all of us as we go through the mundane of the day-to-day and the tough moments too. The pressure of perfection is felt in almost everything we do, but don’t forget to be gentle with yourself and rest in the knowledge that you have the gift of grace ready and available to you. Our Heavenly Father loves us in spite of our flaws, so we should love ourselves the same.
Please check out my article here if you have a few moments – I hope you read it and feel encouraged! Take heart friends. It’s all going to be okay.
